The Lee Spann, Jr. Resident Assistant Scholarship was established in December 2013 in memory of Lee, who was not only a successful collegiate athlete but also served as a Resident Assistant on the 7th floor of Ellicott Hall. Thanks to Lee's genuine personality, he formed many lifelong friendships during his years in College Park.
